I have been buying color correctors for a week because I wanted to make a video about covering age spots.

Not just covering them with a thick layer of concealer—but actually using the right color underneath to neutralize those brownish-gray spots so you don’t need as much makeup on top.

The problem was, I could not find the right shade.

I needed a very light peach. Not bright orange. Not dark salmon. Not something that created a brand-new spot I then had to cover.

Every corrector I ordered was wrong.

Too dark. Too orange. Too pink. Too obvious.

Apparently, finding a pale peach color corrector for my skin was going to become my new full-time job.

THE MAIN THING

Then I happened to watch a video from a woman I follow who is in her 70s.

She was applying an under-eye brightening corrector and talking about how it didn’t crease on her and lasted all day.

And I thought, wow. That looks gorgeous.

It was light. It was brightening. It didn’t look thick or dry underneath her eyes.
