I’ve opened enough cans of worms for six people.

I have opened too many cans of worms.

Case in point: this is the Tuesday newsletter and it's Wednesday.

Does anybody else do this when the weather starts getting nice?

All of a sudden I have approximately 47 things I want to do and apparently still only 24 hours in a day.

In the last month, I have bought probably 30 sets of press-on nails.

I bought a bread maker.

I bought TWO different kinds of buffet warmers for Thanksgiving.

Do I even know if Thanksgiving is going to be at my house?

No.

But am I prepared to keep everyone's mashed potatoes warm?

Absolutely.

And now all the Christmas stuff is already out at Costco.

It is not even Halloween and I'm already thinking, "Should I start buying for Christmas?"

I've also decided I want to make more cloth napkins.

Now I'm thinking about making adult bibs.

I bought a 3D printer for a giant project I'm working on.

The weather is nicer, so I'm outside walking more with the dog.

And meanwhile, I still have an actual business to run.

I have beautiful new makeup coming in that I want to try and an enormous pile of freebies sent that need experimenting with.

Videos I want to make.

Things I want to test.

Groceries that apparently are not going to go buy themselves.

And I keep getting to the end of the day thinking, "How did I not get everything done?"

Because apparently I've assigned myself enough activities for six people.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this.

And while we're talking about me getting slightly behind…

I used to be able to answer almost all of my comments in a day.

Now, between TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, it can sometimes take me about four days to get through them.

That's a wonderful problem to have because it means there are a LOT of you here talking to me.

But I'm still just one person over here.

So if you've asked me a question in a comment and I missed it, just hit reply to this email and ask me here.

I may have too many cans of worms open, but I'm still listening.

Best,

Camille

I follow very few people for makeup advice, which is kind of funny considering what I do for a living. But there are two main beauty creators I follow because I absolutely love their makeup and their style. I've purchased something from each of their links, and BOTH times I was terribly disappointed. One of those purchases was an expensive concealer that was supposed to be crease-free. Well, let me tell you. Mine creased. And it looked HORRIBLE. I remember thinking, How am I ever supposed to...

I am sure you get tired of seeing these disclosures but I must post them by law. Every fall, I feel like my skin needs a little rehabilitation. Summer is not particularly kind to my face. I’ve been outside. I’ve been in the pool. I’ve been hot. I’ve been sweaty. And I’ve probably not been as diligent about everything...

Primer under makeup is not a required step. I think a lot of people are confused about primer. Some people aren’t really sure what it does. Other people think they absolutely have to use one before foundation. You don’t. Especially with mature skin, your skincare should already be doing a lot of the basic prep work. We want our skin hydrated. We want dry areas softened. We want foundation to go on more smoothly instead of grabbing onto texture. Good skincare, chosen for your skin type, can...
